The timers

Dark pill 42m— how long they’ve been seated
Amber pill— longer than usual; check on the table
Blue clock 7:30 PM— reserved later tonight; still seatable, the app warns if it’s tight

The alerts above the floor

Running long— a party well past its usual time
Late— a reservation 15+ minutes late
Arriving— a VIP or big party due soon, no table yet
Waitlist— a party near the wait you gave them
Tap any alert— it takes you straight there

The six moves

Walk-in at the door

Green table → Seat walk-in → set the size → Seat party of 2

A reservation arrives

Blue table → Seat now. No table yet? Green table → Seat reservation → tap their name

The room is full

Wait → Add to waitlist → name + the wait you told them

Their table frees up

On Wait, Seat on the party → tap the table. I told them notes you’ve let them know

The party leaves

Red table → Close → it shows Cleaning → when it’s ready, Mark ready

The phone rings for Friday

New reservation → guests, day, time → name & phone → Confirm reservation

Before the doors open

Needs table— give every reservation a table in Book
Who’s on— the team button on the floor: manager + waiters’ tables
Tonight’s hours— tap the date at the top to change one night
