Dinesty Host is the app restaurant teams use to run the floor. It’s made by Dinesty. You can delete your Dinesty Host account at any time, in the app or by email. This page explains how, and what happens to your information.
That’s it. The app deletes your account straight away.
Email privacy@dinestyapp.com from the address you sign in with. Use the subject “Delete my account”.
We’ll confirm by email, and delete your account within 30 days.
One sign-in, two apps. Your Dinesty sign-in is the same account the Dinesty app for diners uses. Deleting it signs you out of both apps for good.
The restaurant’s own records belong to the restaurant, and stay with it: its floor plan, reservations, waitlist, guest list and service history.
Things you did while working there stay part of those records. For example, a reservation you took.
Crash reports and usage counts carry no names. Once your account is gone, they aren’t linked back to you.
Deleting your account removes your access, but not the restaurant. Its records stay. Dinesty can hand the restaurant over to someone else on your team. Write to support@dinestyapp.com and tell us who should take over.
Deleted details can stay in our encrypted backups until those backups expire. Automatic backups expire after 7 days.
Before a major upgrade, we also take a few copies by hand. We keep those longer, and delete them once they’re no longer needed.
Write to privacy@dinestyapp.com. Our privacy policy explains what Dinesty Host keeps and why. For anything else, see Help and support.
